Moniqua DaShonne (Nikki) Kirkland

Moniqua DaShonne blossomed into this earthly world on Wednesday, September 6, 1972, the fourth and last child to Addie Leah and the late Rumfle D. Kirkland Jr., in Miami, Florida. 

Nikki as she was affectionately known, attended the Miami-Dade Public Schools and Fulton County Public schools system.  She obtained her high school diploma from Golitah Academy in Miami, Florida the year of 2003.

 She accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age and received her religious training at Christian Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church.

 Through out the years, Nikki worked at Habitat for Humanity as an Advertisement Associate; FTP Security Services, Security Officer at the Martin Luther King Office Building. She loved to protect and serve, whether on the clock, off the clock, whoever, from wherever. She was a “Protector”; Her last tenure of work was with Allied Security Services, where she served the students and faculty of Barry University.

God plucked this beautiful flower from His grace filled garden of love on February 24, 2018.  She leave to cherish her memories and mourn her passing, two sons: Christopher A. Campbell and Eric D. Robinson; one daughter, Kylah M. Kirkland; grandson, Zyir C. Campbell; mother, Addie Kirkland; two brothers, Roderick and Dwayne Kirkland; one sister, Shawntia Kirkland; nephews, Andre' Kirkland, Dedrick Andrews, Rodrick Jr., Demetrius, Deon, Devin, Raheem, Rashad, Raquan; nieces, TaQuandria, Cache’,Rasheka, Dominique, Raquel, Raiesha, Lissandra, Adrianne, Nicole,  Kenndi, Ava, Chianne, Sara, and Allana; two grandmothers, Josephine West and Florence Kirkland; aunts, Sharon Rollins (Prince), Edna Jones, Althea West, Janice West, Lawanda West and Shirley Kirkland; uncles, Alan West (Na’Tascha); Michael West Sr.; one God daughter, Tempestt Bellamy, six great nieces; two great nephews and a host of many cousins and friends.
