Kirk Allen Herring Sr

On October 3, 1968, Kirk Allen Herring Sr. was born to Brooksie and Lucille Herring in Miami FL.   Kirk was an artistic visionary whose artistry was graphic arts, woodworking, tailoring and comedy.   Kirk’s love for art started as a young child and grew while attending Miami Edison Sr. High School.   As a student Kirk was strong-willed, talkative, friendly, fun loving and athletic.

Kirk Herring Sr. was a proud Red Raider alumni and a jack of all trades.   He was an electrician, mechanic, painter, repairman and the most sought - after technician for Air Filter.   Kirk enjoyed music, celebrating life and desired for all to have a good time.

In 1990, Kirk married Carnise.   They were blessed with three sons and two daughters Kirk, Bernard Shyhem, Kiyana and Licille.  Kirk was also blessed with a step daughter Crystal Cochran (Antonio Sr.).  Kirk loved and adored his role as a father and grandfather.  He was a rugged man who found himself rendered a loving pushover for his grandchildren. 

On Wednesday, June 6, 2018 Kirk was called to be with our Lord and Savior.  In addition to Carnise and his children Kirk leaves to celebrate his life and carry on in love his marvelous grandchildren: Da’Karius Hering, Jaron Davis, Sha’riya Davis, Messiah Herring, Cadence Herring, Bernard Herring III, Harmony Herring, Ja’Harha Herring, Bree’Asia Herring, Dimitiri Herring, Dionni Herring, Ayanna Herring, Zarya Herring, Kareem Herring, Aaliyah Cochran and Antonio Cochran Jr.   Also, his parents Brooksie and Lucille Herring, brother Eric Herring (Shaunice), sister Lisa Herring - McCaskill (Jermell) and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
